Just got my copy of The Utne Reader, with several illustrations I did for a group of articles about human rights. This was one of those rare times when my sketches were pretty much my finals...and it felt great to to see the un-fussed and un-fidgeted art on the printed page. You know how you often think that your sketches are fresher and more vital than the final art? Well, this time I was given the freedom to let the original vision stand on its own, thanks to AD Stephanie Glaros.
