Crazy Governor LePage Animation on Mother Jones

The GOP's recent assault on labor has hit another low up in Maine in recently proposed legislation to exploit children: they want to extend the number of hours a child can be required to work and lower their pay below the minimum wage. So this week’s cartoon features Maine’s Governor LePage at Story Time, teaching the kiddies all about The Good Ol' Days and his plans for turning back the clock on child labor laws.

  1. Good post... LePage is also guilty of removing artwork dealing with Maine's Labor milestones from the Dept of Labor. Judy Taylor's "Maine Labor Mural Cycle" was pulled down due to "bias" against management. http://www.pressherald.com/life/audience/for-maine-arts-a-galvanic-eruption_2011-04-03.html

  2. Yes, that's another good example of his scary and idiotic antics up there, thanks for providing the link. The republicans are doing this anti-labor, anti-regular-people stuff all over the country. It's utterly despicable and very frightening.
